Champions of Youth Gala!

To everyone who joined us for our Champions of Youth Gala and to everyone who donated, thank you!

We are thrilled to share that together, we achieved a monumental milestone - the event soared to new heights and raised an astounding....  $800,000 and counting! We are still beaming from the Gala this past weekend and while we are still tallying up all the numbers, and some donations are even still coming in, we are grateful for the generosity of everyone who donated.

“We are overwhelmed and grateful for the support our community continues to show for our kids,” said Tim Motts, CEO of the Boys & Girls Clubs. “We are seeing an increasing need here in Bellevue and the dollars raised tonight will make a difference in that effort.”

More than 300 guests joined us at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue, on Saturday evening, for a night of fun and fundraising, with a little bit of glam, a lot of bidding, and some powerful and inspirational stories.

Board Chair, Jane Boulware, spoke about how a dramatically changing Eastside creates the ongoing need for Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue and the essential support and services we provide.

Tim’s speech highlighted the stories of some of our members, including Mia, and her seven brothers and sisters, all of whom we have helped through programs, meals, and other assistance.

Our 2023 Champion of Youth award went this year to the Bacon Family Foundation for their ongoing and outstanding support of BGCB.

Money raised will make an immediate impact as BGCB continue our mission of making sure that we serve more kids more often – and that we don’t turn away any child in need.

We’re so grateful for the generosity of our community and the people who stepped up to support the kids of Bellevue, at the Gala and throughout the year!
